I've been making things for as long as I can remember. As a child remember painting big blousey tulips, making jewellery and embellishing clothes. I collected vintage treasures and turned everything I touched into something new. Creativity wasn't a hobby. It was just how I existed in the world.

Then in 2006, everything clicked. I walked into my first abstract art workshop, stood in front of a big blank canvas, and someone said four words that changed everything for me: "Don't think, just paint."

My paintings are driven by intuition and emotion. I read tarot cards and love finding meaning in the hidden and the overlooked. I like to weave found papers and ephemera into my work. Every painting holds a story that unfolds as you look at it.

Outside the studio I work in communications and I'm a mum to two grown-up kids. Art is my joy project. The place I go to let go of thinking and just feel. That energy goes into every piece and I truly believe you can feel it when you live with the work.

I paint from my studio at York House in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes, where I also run community art workshops. I've shown work at a exhibition in Milan (2023) and had my artwork featured on Michael Grey's Birkenstock collection.
